Welcome to the official web site of Aiken Woodcarvers. We hope you enjoy your visit.

The Aiken Woodcarvers Club has been formed to further locally the ART of woodcarving, , instruct novice woodcarvers, and provide information to the "Old Timers." We will meet on each Tuesday evening of each month at the Aiken Hobby Lobby. We expect to see many old faces and several new ones in the group.

Visit Jack the Wood Carver's News-Blog. We were busy as Bees this week and getting into a busy time for us. So read the news at this the BLOG...week's topic is "Whay's A Goin' On?" Stop by and leave a comment.

"What's a Blog?" you ask? A Blog is a website created by someone as a collection of thoughts, ideas, musings and general stuff. Sort of like an online diary. Usually , about our last meeting. Well, without all of the super private stuff you might read in ones diary, so I guess it would be more like a journal.

Anyway, my Blog is now online at: Jack the Wood Carvers Blog . Stop by and leave a comment on any topic you have in mind and we will talk about it from wood carving to politics to the politics of woodcarving, he he. I'll usually update it the weekend after our carving meetings or a special event for those who couldn't make it to the meeting to keep up on things.
