Aiken Woodcarvers Club has been formed to further locally the
ART of woodcarving, , instruct novice woodcarvers, and provide
information to the "Old Timers." We will meet on each
Tuesday evening of each month at the Aiken Hobby Lobby. We expect
to see many old faces and several new ones in the group.

What's Happening!!
-May 2, 2009 We hosted our annual picnic
at Gem Lakes Lake. We had 23 attendees and it was
a blast, not to mention good food as well. Thanks
to Marge for pulling it togather and to Gene Stewart
for getting the space for us. Click HERE

- The May 9,2009 Carving at the Aiken Mall
was also a success. About 11 carversw showed up and

People's Choice!! -Artistry in Wood- at the Western Carolina
State Fair was a GREAT Winner!! Gene Reardon!! Superb
sculpture of the Red Shouldered Hawk. Congratulations
